ZHOU PENG

Zhou Peng was born in Shanghai, China, in 1983. He began formal training in drawing at the age of thirteen, later studying Visual Art of Chinese Traditional Theatre at the Shanghai Theatre Academy. He went on to earn an M.F.A. in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Guided by the belief that the unification of human culture is an irreversible trend, Zhou explores the convergence of diverse cultural concepts to inspire new ways of thinking and seeing. His work reflects a deep engagement with ancient Chinese philosophical ideas—such as Relativity, Change, and Harmony—while achieving a thoughtful balance between Western and Chinese artistic aesthetics.

Zhou’s work has been exhibited internationally and is held in the collections of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel, SCAD (Atlanta & Lacoste), and various private collectors. He is also a recipient of the FRPS distinction from The Royal Photographic Society.

In recent years, Zhou has expanded his creative practice into crypto art, AI-generated art, and the emerging landscape of the metaverse. These new mediums allow him to continue exploring cultural synthesis while engaging with the evolving possibilities of digital expression and future worlds.
